"Mátyás Király Gimnázium"

Our school is located in the western part of Hungary on the southern shore of Lake Balaton,which is one of the biggest lakes in Europe. There are 420 students at our school. Our students are between 14 and 18 years old and they study academic subjects. Among these subjects we put great emphasis on foreign languages (English, German, Spanish), mathematics, computer science, biology and chemistry as well as humanities. Recently we have also put a lot of emphasis on art. There are more and more students who are specialized in this field.

Our school is well-equipped. We have a language and two science laboratories, computer rooms, a studio and a swimming pool as well as a water base. In the water base, which can be used from spring to autumn, the students can do canoeing or rowing.
